QS 2011

The QS rankings in 2011 place four French institutions in the Top 200 worldwide: the Ecole Normale Supérieure (33th), Ecole Polytechnique (36th), UPMC (119th), and the Ecole Normale Supérieure-Lyon (133rd).


UPMC also appears in three thematic classifications, "Engineering & Technology" (103rd in the world, 3rd in France), "Life Sciences and Medicine" (79th in the world, 1st in France) and "Natural Science" (31st in the world, 2nd in France).


Anglo-Saxon universities still dominate these rankings.
