UPMC Inaugurates a Pan-European Doctoral Program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Jean Chambaz, president of UPMC, has launched the creation of the doctoral program in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), part of the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC).

Managed by UPMC, the EIT ICT Labs Doctoral School on ICT Innovation is a pan-European program offering access to doctoral training in innovation and entrepreneurship. These courses, ranging from 3 to 5 years depending on the country, take place in UPMC partner universities Aalto, Abo Akademy, Oulu, Turku (Finland), KTH (Sweden), BME and ELTE (Hungary), Trento (Italy), UCL (UK), and the Institut Mines-Telecom, Paris-Sud and Rennes1 (France). Forty-five doctoral candidates are currently involved, with 120 participants expected by the end of the year.
