Laboratory of Physics and Materials Research (LPEM) - UMR 8213

The Laboratory of Physics and Materials ResearchNouvelle fenêtre is a mixed research unit (UMR 8213) between ESPCI, UPMC and CNRS. The laboratory is attached to the INP CNRS and the Faculty of Physics of UPMC.

LPEM Research topics are similar to CNRS thematic sections 3 (solid state physics), 4 (optical) and 8 (components, electronic).

These subjects are divided into three major components:

  • Interactions and correlations in quantum materials
  • Nanophysics, nanostructures and nanomaterials
  • Imaging insturmentation
