Jean-Marie Chesneaux, Vice President Digital Strategy

A graduate of the Ecole Normale Superieure de Saint-Cloud, Jean-Marie Chesneaux has been a professor of computer science at UPMC since 1998. His research topic is computer arithmetic.

He was head of the department "scientific calculation" of the computer laboratory of Paris 6 (LIP6: UPMC/CNRS) from 2005 to 2012, director of Polytech Paris-UPMC from 2006 to 2016 and a member of the CFVU from 2008 to 2015. He was also Vice President of the French Conference of Engineering School Directors from 2009 to 2016.

Jean-Marie Chesneaux has published 23 articles in international journals, 22 papers in international conferences as well as a patent in 1992: Cadna software (Control of accuracy and debugging for numerical application).
