First-year Students Services are responsible for supporting the integration of students into the university.
They gather together and coordinate all the services for first-year students such as the Integration Cycle Department (DCI), which is responsible for first-year students of science and medicine, the ‘Studies and Professional Integration Support’ service (AFIP), the ‘Projects and Culture’ service, which teaches self-expression and communication techniques and lessons on scientific and artistic culture.
They also allow their premises to be used by the Languages Department, the Physical and Sports Activities Department (DAPS) and the multi-disciplinary areas of specialisation of the bachelor’s degree (bachelor’s degree in fundamental, natural and experimental sciences) and master’s degree (master’s degree in sciences and management).
