Times Higher Education 2012

UPMC moves up three places

Times Higher Education (THE) "World University Ranking 2012" was released on October 3, 2012, placing UPMC in 81st place this year. Once again, the University has moved up in the rankings, this time by 3 places (2011: 84th place).


Six other French institutions appear in the ranking: the Ecole Normale Superieure is ranked 59th place just before the Ecole Polytechnique (62th). The university Paris Diderot is ranked 166th and ENS Lyon at 170th. For the first time, the universities of Paris Sud and Joseph Fourier Grenoble 1 appear in the top 200, at 92th and 180th places respectively.
