Times Higher Education 2011

The "World University Ranking 2011" of the world's best universities by Times Higher Education (THE) was released October 6, 2011.

UPMC is in 84th place. It has therefore moved up by 56 places compared to last year (2010: 140th place).

The top French institutions appear in the Top 200, with the Ecole Normale Superieure (59th) and the Ecole Polytechnique (63rd). UPMC takes the third place, ahead of ENS-Lyon (141st). It is the first French university in the list.
