2011 Taiwan Ranking

In 2011, UPMC was up by 9 seats and now occupies the 42nd place worldwide ranking of Taiwan.

UPMC is one of six French institutions present in the world’s top 100 institutions established by HEEACT (the Board of Accreditation and Evaluation in Higher Education in Taiwan).

As the top university in France and the 8th in Europe, UPMC continues to rise in the rankings since 2007 where it was ranked 105th.

This ranking mainly takes into account publications and citation indexes. It is therefore represents the production by scientific teams. It ignores the number of awards obtained (Nobel, Fields, etc.), as does the Shanghai ranking.

The Taiwan ranking also provides a ranking by discipline and the results are very encouraging for UPMC:
