2010 Taiwan Ranking

UPMC arrives 51st in the 2010 worldwide ranking of Taiwan. It’s the first French university, and only one to feature in the Top 100 with Paris-South (80th), Paris-Diderot (127th), Paris-Descartes ( 175th), and the University of Strasbourg (194th).

In the overall ranking, UPMC is the 9th European university.
In the rankings by discipline, UPMC holds the following positions:

- 9th Worldwide and 1st European in Mathematics

- 17th Worldwide and 3rd European in Geosciences

- 5th European in Physics and Mechanical Engineering

- 6th European in Chemistry and Materials Science

And by major disciplinary field at the European level:

- 4th in "Natural Sciences"
