The potential and quality of research at UPMC are recognised by various international ranking systems. UPMC has structured its research activities into different sectors to proven effect. The university's research policy aims to anticipate and take fully into account the new environment created by the PACTE law (creation of agencies) and the LRU law (regarding university freedoms and responsibilities).
