YOU ARE A STUDENT RESIDING IN ONE OF THE 27 COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, SWITZERLAND, NORWAY, ICELAND OR LIECHTENSTEIN

You would like to apply for first year Bachelors (L1)

Attention: All European students with French or European graduation diploma need to pass by the Application Post Bac (APB).

You can apply online from the 20th of January to the 20th of March.

How to chose UPMC over APB :

  • If you are interested in Life Science or Earth Science, chose the course BGPC (biologie, géologie, physique, chimie).

  • If you are interested in Mathematics or Computer Science, chose de course MIME (mathématiques, informatique, mécanique, électronique).

Please note that UPMC does not offer any Bachelor programs in English and that you should have the level B2 to be able to follow our courses. You need to proof your B2 level by the TCF or the DELF test.

You would like to apply for the second year Bachelors (L2)

You can apply online in the first and second year on the university website  from around mid-April. You select the following profile «Candidat étranger titulaire d'un diplôme étranger de l'Espace européen» to complete your application online and send it to the address which will be shown.

You would like to register for third year Bachelors (L3), Master 1 or 2

You are not affected by the request of a student visa and you are not subjected to a language test. A good level of French is nevertheless recommended since the majority of the courses are given in French.
You can apply directly online on the UPMC websiteNouvelle fenêtre from around May to June (L3 and M1) or from May to mid-July (M2)
In the downloaded application form you can indicate your choice of bachelor/master (max 2 options). You will then receive a password and username with which you can follow online the progress of your application. Send you application to the secretaries of your bachelor/master. Once you have accepted, you will receive a confirmation on the Internet. You must then confirm your agreement.

You would like to apply for Medicine

As a European Student you are not affected by the request of a student visa

You can apply in the first year of medicine via the CEE files, which will be available on the faculty of medicine websiteNouvelle fenêtre from the 1st of March. The deadline to apply is the 22nd of May.

For further questions you must contact the Scolarité PAES. You will also receive useful information regarding your enrollment.

Attention: The French regulations do not allow you to directly enroll in Medicine in France. Students having started medical studies abroad and who wish to continue in France are enforced to enroll in the 1st year.

Please also note that classes in medicine are entirely taught in French and that our university cannot accept you without an excellent level of French.
