Electronics and Industrial Computer Science (apprenticeship)

Associated with the CFA UPMCA (Pierre & Marie Curie apprenticeship center), the electronics and industrial computer science specialization trains engineers through apprenticeship. Students are taught within the school and in companies as apprentices.

Based on their scientific knowledge and techniques, they are able to deal with innovation and lead substantial projects. They also have strong management skills.

During the course, the tasks carried out within companies increase in complexity as the apprentice progresses and acquires the necessary autonomy.

In their last year, students will have obtained the status of novice engineer. They spend 75 % of their time with their employer and manage an industrial project – a learning experience which enables them to become quick and efficient workers.

The classes are based on carrying out specific applications through academic projects (one-third of the students timetable). Two areas of more in-depth study are offered – microwaves and industrial computer science.
