Third International Joint Curie/UPMC Course on Developmental Biology

A comprehensive program of practicals (September 24 - October 12) and lectures (October 15 - 26).

UPMC, the training unit of Curie Institute and members of Harvard University DBR (Developmental and Regenerative Biology) department are organizing a joint course on developmental biology in Paris. The aim of this program is an intensive laboratory and lecture course which provides a comprehensive coverage of the paradigms, problems and technologies of modern developmental biology and embryonic stem cells. Students (second-year Master's and PhD) receive training in theoretical and experimental aspects of normal cell development as well as abnormal aspects of these processes that may cause birth defects or diseases.

The program is proposed in two versions: a 5-week course including 3 weeks of practicals and 2 weeks of lectures (September 24 -October 12, limited to 18 students) or a 2-week version including only the lectures (October 12-26, limited to 35).

This program will be held entirely in English.
