With its 37 years of experience, the support of the university’s regular programmes of study and research in sciences and medicine and its ISO 9001/2000 quality certification, the Continuing Education Service of UPMC is one of the leading university continuing education centres in France. Regularly updating one’s original education, following the example of doctors who are required to educate themselves throughout their career, acquiring new skills in order to adapt to the constant evolution of one’s sector of activity or developing knowledge or a specific skill in a precise area have become necessary in view of the extended duration of careers and rapid technological advances.

With its complete and varied range of programmes and services on offer, continuing education at UPMC meets the different needs of people. It facilitates obtaining degrees by providing information, advice and support with regard to re-entering higher education and accrediting knowledge and skills acquired through experience (VAE – validation des acquis de l’expérience). It can also help you to construct a personalised programme of study and to establish pedagogical tutorials if necessary.

Customised services

Personalised programmes can be developed through the Continuing Education Service upon the request of each business, collective or administration.
