Emergency Allowance

In order to help certain students as quickly as possible, the CROUS can grant an emergency allowance (AUAU; Allocation Unique d’Aide d’Urgence).  It is paid to students in financial difficulty.  Visit the Crous social services, 39 avenue G. Bernanos 75005 Paris, from Monday to Friday from 9.15 a.m. to 12 p.m. (without appointment) on +33 (0)140 51 37 73 and on appointment from 1.30 to 4.30 p.m., 3rd floor of the Sarrailh building.  Visit theCrous website for further information.
The Solidarity and Student Initiative Development Fund (FSDIE - UPMC; Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Etudiantes) is funded by some of the university registration fees.  A portion of the FSDIE budget is allocated to social aid for struggling students.  Special financial aid can be granted after filling in a form with the counsellors and after approval by the FSDIE management committee.
